Two of Opsis monitoring systems have been approved as designated equivalency methods by the Swedish EPA. The SM200 particulate monitor is recommended an equivalent method for monitoring PM2.5 and the DOAS analyser has been recommended as an equivalent method for monitoring NO2 and O3. Both systems control the environmental quality values in the ambient air.
