The basic Opsis DOAS system consists of an analyser, an emitter and receiver set, a power supply and a fibre optic cable.

The analyser is the central unit in the system. The basic functions are to detect and measure gases and to log data. However, the operation may be varied to meet the particular needs in each application.

The emitter and receiver set creates the light path. The emitter lamp is powered by the separate power supply.

Received light is sent from the receiver to the analyser through a fibre optic cable. In multi-path systems, the analyser accesses the fibre optic cable from each receiver through an optical multiplexer.

Standard and special system accessories offer the tool necessary for each application. The range of products includes air-conditioned cabinets, electrical accessories such as signal isolators and a full range of automatic and bench-operated calibration equipment.
