Water vapour is water in gaseous phase. Water is a chemical compound of hydrogen and oxygen and has the formula H2O. Water has three states, liquid as in water, gas phase as in water vapour and firm as in ice.
The boiling point of water is 100 °C and water freezes at 0 °C.
