NH3 Truck Engine Monitoring
In order to control the urea dosage, a reliable measurement system is required. OPSIS LD500 laser diode gas analyser for monitoring ammonia (NH3), has been tested and approved by German TÜV, in accordance with the EURO VI standard.
A new EC regulation states that diesel engines need to have active cleaning with urea injection in order to reduce NOx emissions.
