OPSIS System 400 offers three possible monitoring solutions depending on the conditions of the monitoring location. This video focuses on the OPSIS "HWE" (Hot Wet Extractive) solution.
System 400HWE (hot-wet-extractive) is similar to the System 400FL in that it uses a dedicated measurement cell located separately from the gas duct.
However, gas extraction is carried out using a more traditional sampling unit, which results in a lower flow rate and slower gas exchange in the cell, but can simplify installation.
The system is typically based on an AR600 analyser and can be supplemented with an AR650 for additional gas detection capabilities.
A key advantage of the 400HWE is the option to include a gas converter at the inlet of the measurement cell, enabling measurement of additional pollutants such as total mercury, low concentrations of H₂S, and total reduced sulfur (TRS).
By using two measurement cells with a converter between them, an even broader range of gases can be monitored in a cost-effective system with low maintenance requirements.
