Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy has been adopted by OPSIS AB and it applies also to its subsidiary OPSIS GmbH. OPSIS AB and OPSIS GmbH is hereinafter collectively referred to as “we”, “us” and “our”. The policy describes our processing of personal data relating to visitors of our websites and social media profiles/pages, subscribers to our newsletter or other information from us, job applicants, representatives of our customers and suppliers, and our employees. 

We are committed to care about your privacy and we strive for a high level of protection in all processing of personal data. This policy sets out how we will treat your personal information. We also comply with all applicable laws and regulations such as the Data Protection Act (DPA), Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulation (PECR) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Why do we collect and store the personal data?

We collect personal data to enable us to recruit, employ, support and manage our employees, to provide adequate training of our employees and representatives, to protect the health and safety of our employees and visitors to our premises, to promote our products and services, to enable us to sell and provide products and services to our customers, and to document our activities and maintain our accounts and records in relation hereto.

What personal data do we collect and store?

How long will we keep personal data?

You may instruct us to provide you with any personal information we hold about you. Provision of such information may be subject to the payment of a reasonable fee for the administration of your request.

You can review, change, update and delete your personal data. You can also request us to restrict our use of the data. However, if you request deletion of your personal data, we reserve the right to only delete your personal data when we no longer have a lawful basis for retaining such data.

To the extent the personal data you provide to us is processed based on your consent, you have the right to request that we provide you a copy of, or access to, all or parts of such personal data in structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You also have the right to request that we transmit this personal data to another controller, when technically feasible.

Withdrawal of consent 

To the extent that our storage and processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time by exercising your rights as described below. However, withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of the storage and processing based on your consent before its withdrawal, and it will not affect the lawfulness of our continued storage and processing that is based on any other lawful basis for storage and processing of your personal data.

How you exercise your rights 

You exercise any of the above rights by sending a message detailing your request to the data controller address as outlined below, either vi mail or e-mail. If you contact us to exercise any of the foregoing rights, we may ask you for information to verify your identity. We reserve the right to limit or deny your request if you have failed to provide sufficient information to verify your identity or to otherwise satisfy our legal and business requirements.

Complaints 

You also have the right to lodge complaints against us with the applicable data protection authority in the country you live or work in. However, before doing so, we request that you contact us directly to give us an opportunity to work directly with you to resolve any concerns about your privacy.
