OPSIS System 400 offers three monitoring solutions designed to suit different installation conditions.
This video focuses on the fast-loop solution, System 400FL, which provides a practical alternative to System 400CS when the gas duct is difficult to access or the monitoring path needs to be kept short.
In a System 400FL installation, an insulated pipe connects the sampling point to a separately located, closed measurement cell.
After analysis, the gas is returned to the duct. The gas flow is typically driven by the natural pressure drop in the flue gas duct or by a dedicated fan at the measurement cell outlet.
The high flow rate helps ensure that the sampled gas accurately represents the composition of the flue gas, even when the measurement cell is installed some distance from the sampling point.
Like the 400CS, the System 400FL is typically equipped with an AR600 analyser. The system can also be expanded with an AR650 analyser, enabling the detection of additional gas species and providing greater measurement flexibility.
